Wine Tasting Party |

July 25 at 8:00 p.m.
Last year's Wine Tasting party was fun. This year's plans to be even better! Ed Goist, wine expert and educator, will serve as our guest host and server.
Ed will provide for us a wide array of his recommended wines to sample, ranging from $10-$15 a bottle. The cost is $10 per person. Appetizers will also be provided; some designed to pair with the featured wines.
See or contact Katie Watson or Ron Rinaldi if you have any questions or to make payment arrangements. The deadline to RSVP is Thursday, July 23.

CONGREGATIONAL PICNIC |

Mark your calendars for a Congregational Picnic on Sunday, July 12th at Noon. We will be grilling burgers/hot dogs and providing drinks. Bring side dishes and/or desserts to share. It would be a great Sunday to invite friends/family to church and join us for the picnic.

Vacation Bible School raise $280 for PlayPump this year!
We are planning a Walk for Water in September by Mosquito Lake. Watch for details.
We hope this will be a Cortland community project, so please mention it to others in the area. All donations from outside Prince of Peace can be sent to the treasurer of LOAF. Please see Leza Niederhoff for details.

A Grand New Day – Women of Faith 2009 – will be in Cleveland on July 17 and 18. Missy Patchin is leading the group. See the poster on the bulletin board in the Fellowship Hall for details and contact Missy if you would like to be part of the group. Note: Steve Curtis Chapman will NOT be at the Cleveland venue.

NEW WINDSOR TRIP |

(LWR WAREHOUSE VOLUNTEERING)
We are planning to go to New Windsor and work Oct. 5-7. We will drive down on Sunday, Oct. 4 and arrive back in Cortland Wednesday evening, Oct. 7. If you are interested, see Jean Bolinger or call her at 330-638-7672. We will get to stay in the newest and, by far, the nicest dorm this time at no extra cost. The work is truly rewarding and the food is GREAT.
